Refund and Returns Policy

At Iniyam, we take immense pride in offering handcrafted products made by skilled artisans from rural India. Each item is unique, with slight variations in color, design, and finish — these are not defects but hallmarks of genuine handmade craftsmanship.

Even with these natural variations, we stand behind the quality of our products and remain committed to customer satisfaction. Please review our policy carefully before initiating any request.

🎥 1. Opening Video is Mandatory

  • An unboxing (opening) video is compulsory for all return, exchange, or refund requests.
  • Without this video, no request will be accepted.
  • The video must:
    • Clearly show the outer packaging.
    • Capture the parcel being opened.
    • Display the product received.
  • The video must be unedited and continuous from start to finish.

🔄 2. Return & Exchange Eligibility

  • Returns/exchanges accepted within 7 days of delivery.
  • Customer must inform Iniyam Support within 2 days of delivery via registered email or WhatsApp.
  • Product must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging, tags, and invoices intact.
  • Non-returnable items: Sale, clearance, and customized products (unless defective or not as described).

🚫 3. Non-Returnable Situations

Iniyam reserves the right to deny returns/exchanges in cases such as:

  • More than 3 returns in a financial year by the same customer.
  • No opening video provided.
  • Product used, damaged, or altered after delivery.
  • Minor variations in color, texture, or finish (due to handmade nature).
  • Incorrect/incomplete delivery address provided.
  • Package refused or not accepted by recipient.

💳 4. Refund Policy

  • If return is approved:
    • If pickup service is unavailable for your pin code, you must ship the product back at your own cost.
    • Refunds are issued to the original mode of payment (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, PayPal).
    • Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless Iniyam shipped a wrong or defective product.
    • Refunds are processed only after verification at our warehouse.

🛠️ 5. Damaged or Defective Products

  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours with the opening video and photos.
  • Iniyam will provide either:
    • A free replacement, or
    • A full refund (excluding shipping, if applicable).

📌 6. Additional Conditions

  • Refunds will not be processed without prior intimation or without proper video proof.
  • Once approved, refunds take 5–7 working days to reflect in your account.
